Four injured as vehicle rolls
‘Driver lost control of the vehicle after he swerved to avoid a pothole’
Four men aged between 30 to 50 were injured early on Friday when their vehicle rolled multiple times outside of Fochville.
According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, “Paramedics arrived on scene to find a light motor vehicle on the side of the road and down a small embankment. It was apparent that the vehicle had rolled multiple times.
“On assessment, paramedics found the four occupants sitting around the vehicle. All four men had sustained moderate injuries.
“Paramedics treated and stabilised the patients before they were transported to Leslie Williams Hospital for further treatment.
“It is believed the driver lost control of the vehicle after he swerved to avoid a pothole in the road.
“Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.”
