Help support an animal shelter

Quick Response Services are giving to charity – this time they want to save the lives of animals.

Randfontein based Quick Response Services are raising funds for charity and they need your help.

The charity that they are supporting is Friends for Rescued Animals (FORA) – An animal shelter situated in Krugersdorp. The fundraiser will be in the form of puzzles.

Denver Ramnarian, Founder and Executive Member of Quick Response Services explains, “Teams of four or five compulsory female drivers will set off at 10am on Saturday (13 December) with a sheet of 10 clues. The 10 clues will range from cryptic puzzles to fun at the Krugersdorp Fire Station.”

The winner will be the first team back to complete all 10 tasks. All money raised will be donated to FORA. Anyone can participate in the event.

Ramnarian explains “The tasks will be quite diverse so it should be fun for the whole family.”

When asked why they are raising money for this particular organisation he said, “We have always been very focused on giving back to our community. As an ambulance service, we often help people in our community who are sick and injured but animals also need someone who can assist them.

The prizes up for grabs include vouchers from Makro and Silverstar Casino;Walkhaven who is sponsoring a year’s membership to the dog park as well as alcohol hampers. Ramanarian appeals to people to also donate prizes.

This is not the first time that Quick Response has given to charity last year they assisted a boy named Jayden Roux who had drowned in a swimming pool.

“The cost of the hospital visits had been hard on the family subsequently we donated several things over the year to his family to make their lives a little easier,” Ramanarian said.
