Building collapsed on Eighth Street in Randfontein CBD - Nobody reported injured

A building collapsed on Eighth Street in Randfontein CBD on Monday afternoon.

According to Seuntjie Letlhoo from Randfontein Emergency Services, “No one is injured and none of the workers have been trapped under the rubble.

Traffic Police have cordoned off the road for safety.

The cause of the collapse is not yet know but it has been speculated on the scene that builders were in the process of adding cement to the building and that it started to fall.

More information is awaited on the matter.
