Local ward councillor to advocate for the DA

'I'm thrilled to be given such responsibilities.'

Randfontein’s DA ward councillor Peter Dick has been appointed to be the media liaison officer for the party in Randfontein and to do the caucus’ marketing.

Dick was appointed on 25 August.

According to him, words cannot describe how thrilled he is.

“I am really happy and honoured to be appointed by the caucus to do this.

“I really have been in the forefront in terms of reporting residents’ outcries to the municipality.

“I’ve dealt with water contamination issues, tried to fight the pothole saga and the deserted Greenhills Cemetery among other pertinent issues.

“Together with the DA, all I wanted was to bring change for the residents of this town,” says Dick who adds that he will continue advocating residents’ concerns.
