Baptist church to hold prayer conference

Join the Randfontein Baptist Church for a very special prayer conference on 12 April.

The Randfontein Baptist Church has invited all pastors, ministry leaders, and even members of the public who want to grow in the area of prayer and intercession, to join them on 12 April for a prayer conference.

“As a ministry, we realise the need to grow in the area of prayer and intercession and we would like to open this opportunity to the greater body of Christ,” says one of the organisers of the event, pastor Randall Robertson.

“It will be a seminar for all believers who have a desire to understand prayer better and learn to implement prayer in their lives.”

The seminar will also help those who feel called to intercession to equip them to be more effective.

The main speaker at the event, Leon Coetzee has been in fulltime prayer ministry in Pretoria since 2000 and has a passion for prayer and intercession.

He believes that strategic Spirit led prayer has the ability to impact and transform nations.

Leon’s ministry is focused on teaching and training believers in Bible-based prayer and intercession.

He has gained much experience and insight into praying for nations and has been involved in strategic prayer teams into other nations since 1998.

He has also been involved in coordinating prayer in and for the city of Pretoria since 1999.

In 2012 Leon launched a network called Unlimited Prayer Frontiers to facilitate projects and help others to do strategic prayer initiatives into many different nations of the world.

The conference will be held at the Randfontein Baptist Church on the corners of Karee Avenue and Naartjie Street in Greenhills.

The event starts at 8.30am and will run until 1pm.

The cost of attending the conference will be R50 per person and this will include notes as well as light snacks.

Some of the topics to be discussed include the necessity of prayer, the power of intercession, and the ministry of intercession.
