Randfontein Primary athletes take part on provincial level
Randfontein Primary School is proud of their athletes who took part in the Gauteng Athletics Championships.
Randfontein Primary School boasts with seven of their top athletes who recently participated in both the D2 Championships and the Gauteng Championships.
According to the General Athletics Manager at Randfontein Primary School, Noleen Hogins, these seven pupils are Moreme Mmola, Hudson Phiri, Jinnie Tshepiso, Tshepiso Tshiloane, Olebogeng Pitikoe, Loyiso Dakisa and Thamsanga Khoza.
“Ehese athletes took part in the D2 Championships on 21 February and during this prestigious event, they were selected as part of the D2 Athletics team who participated in the Gauteng Athletics Championships from 1-2 March,” says Noleen.
She adds that these athletes did extremely well and Olebogeng Pitikoe finished in the Top 4 at the Gauteng Championships.
“As a school, we are very proud of their individual achievements as well as their achievements as a team and cannot wait to see these athletic stars during their next season,” Noleen concludes.
