Decomposed body discovered in Robinson

The body was discovered by an employee at the mine.

A decomposed body has been discovered in the bushes of a local mining property in Randfontein near Robinson.

This was on 28 January at approximately 12pm when one of the employees at the mine, Stanley Semeno made the shocking discovery.

“I was just walking through the bush when I came across what looked like a skull.

“I took a closer look and saw what looked like a man’s legs.

“I knew that my mind was not playing games with me. I was convinced that what I had seen was a decomposed body of a man and that’s when I called my colleagues to witness this as well,” says Semeno.

The Herald was called out to the scene and upon arrival, the decomposed body in question had a rope around its waist.

It still had clothes on and a pair of sneakers were also discovered not far from the body.

Randfontein police officers rushed to the scene and investigations into the identity of the man is underway.
