L’Etoil Wine Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients
- 60 ml vanilla simple syrup (recipe below)
- 30 ml brandy
- Leopard’s Leap Sparkling, chilled
- Lemon, cut into wedges
Ingredients (for the vanilla simple syrup_
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method – vanilla simple syrup
- Add water and sugar to a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Strain into a jar or bottle and seal tightly with a lid.
Method – cocktail
- Pour brandy and vanilla simple syrup into a chilled champagne flute.
- Fill to the top with the sparkling wine.
- Squeeze lemon juice into glass and drop in rind.
