Cosmo City vocalist loves to sing amapiano
With a passion for amapiano, Karabo Molope wants to make singing his career.

Music has always been a passion of mine.
I enjoyed singing from an early age, finding encouragement from my family and friends at school and at church, to develop my talent.
Now I’m 31 years old and I’m living in Cosmo City. I’ve been singing since high school in 2009, I work and sing on the side but as an upcoming artist and vocalist, I want to make this my profession.
I love to sing in the amapiano (isiXhosa for ‘the pianos’) genre as I’ve been inspired by old-school kwaito music which I enjoyed in my younger days.
Right now amapiano is the most trending genre where everyone enjoys dancing.
I performed at a Heritage Day event that I have been invited to every year to showcase my talents.
I’m also attending some interviews at some radio stations such as Khanya FM and Mzansi Joburg City FM.
By doing so, I wish to be featured by other artists I like such as DJ Kabza de small, Mr JazziQ, DJ Tira and more.
If I become a professional vocalist, I know my life will never be the same again. I look forward to it.
