Radio DJ and TV presenter, Robbie Kruse has encouraged residents to run the SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge.
The run ambassador said come September 4, he and his young daughter will attempt to run around the blocks in their neighbourhood.
“We’ll be celebrating it at home and celebrating females because I mean let’s be honest, the future is female,” he said in a video he posted on Instagram.
“You can follow my social media or all of SPAR’s social media as well, where we’ll #LiveLimitless.”

The virtual challenge can feature any route, distance and speed the participants choose, as long as it is done between 6am and 6pm on the day.
You can even run on a treadmill.
Participants will each receive a medal, T-shirt and matching buff in the race packs and can go online to generate certificates and race numbers if they so wish.
