Covid-19: 121 new deaths bring total to 14 149

3 693 721 tests have been conducted nationwide, and importantly, 540 923 recoveries have been confirmed.

South Africa’s Covid-19 cases continue to rise steadily, having now reached 627 041 positive cases. Deaths have risen by 121 in the past 24-hours, to reach a total of 14 149.

In the past 24-hours, there has been 1 death in KZN, 20 in Gauteng, 20 in the Eastern Cape, 24 in the Western Cape, 8 in the North West, 16 in the Free State, 23 in Limpopo and 9 in the Northern Cape. The Department of Health has extended its condolences to the families who have lost loved ones to the pandemic.
