Georgetown heads to Delta Park’s outdoor theatre
DELTA PARK – This folk band will liven up the park on 28 July.
If you enjoy experiencing something new, outdoors, right here in Joburg, Theatre in the Park’s latest instalment featuring Georgetown might be exactly what you’re looking for!
Theatre in the Park’s Lyall Ramsden said the multi-instrumental Bluegrass Folk band from Pretoria is taking the music scene by storm. Formed in January 2014, Ramsden said the band mainly consists of four permanent members, Michael de Villiers, Renaldo van Dyk, Rynier Prins and Tiaan Erasmus.
Georgetown is mostly joined by various session musicians and perform as a four-piece and five-piece band.
As for Theatre in the Park, which started early this year, performers like Rocco de Villiers, Deep Fried Man and Chris Chameleon have graced the stage of the park’s hidden theatre.
Georgetown’s performance at Delta Park on 28 July will also be accompanied by the usual outdoor pop-up food and drink courtyard.
