Trinityhouse is all for crime prevention

RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse High School Randpark Ridge adds their voice to crime prevention.

Trinityhouse High School Randpark Ridge recently visited Grace Court, a church in Newlands, where the school’s ReAct members held their outreach project and added their voices to the crime prevention campaign in the area.

The school’s marketing officer, Robyn Aignworth said there was a distinct blend of emotions on the day – excitement and trepidation.

“On arrival, the team were greeted warmly by members of the congregation who seemed very grateful for the additional help,” Aignworth explained, adding that it was not long before government representatives, security officials and police cars arrived for the campaign.

“The team were required to perform tasks such as ushering delegates, parking cars and handing out refreshments. When the time came for the proceedings to begin, the ReActs leaders, Alexis Asibey, Daniel Staples and Alan Clark led a discussion with words of passion and spiritual enlightenment.”

This was followed by presentations by all the remaining esteemed guests.

Aignworth said it was then time for the crowds to ask questions and all of these were answered satisfactorily and a sense of calm prevailed.
