Minaj fans leave dissatisfied
NORTHGATE – Die hard fans of Nicki Minaj are disappointed after they find out there will be no meet-and-greet.
Fans of the award-winning hip hop artist, Nicki Minaj left the concert less than happy after they found that a meet-and-greet with the superstar was not going to happen.
According to Times Live, 20 fans, affectionately called “Barbz” by Minaj, waited excitedly to see their favourite artist in person. However, Minaj informed them that there was never a meet-and-greet planned.
With a sympathetic tone, Minaj reportedly told her Barbz that she was very sorry to have kept them waiting for as long as she had. She went on to explain that she never approved any meet-and-greet and that she never did meet-and-greets after her shows. She further explained that she was set to leave and that they were all lied to and should get their money back.
Dressed in their Minaj memorabilia, the rapper sensation took a moment to take selfies with each fan. The cost for the supposed meet-and-greet cost around R3 000. She added that she would ensure that her fans got their money back.
Minaj will perform her last set in Johannesburg on 18 March which will precede her Durban and Cape Town shows.
