Rocco de Villiers – All About the Piano

To celebrate the existence of the most popular instrument of all times, Rocco de Villiers will play a tribute to the piano from 6 to 29 November at the Pieter Toerien Studio Theatre at Montecasino. From Wednesdays to Fridays the show starts at 8.15pm, on Saturdays at 5.15pm and 8.15pm and on Sundays at 3.15pm. Tickets cost R130 to R165. The show promises to entertain you with a selection of sentimental, nostalgic, modern, old-fashioned, quirky, funny, heavy, tragic and sad melodies. Tickets can be bought on the Montecasino website.

I-Jump pre-launch at Clearwater Crossing

Are children continuously making use of their beds as trampolines? If so, your dream as a parent has finally come true with the new I Jump Arena that will open on 14 November from 3pm to 4pm at Clearwater Crossing. With over a 100 square metres of wall-to-wall trampolines, children can jump and play to get rid of all of that excess energy. Fairy Dust Magic Show in Linden

This exiting show will entertain the entire family with its mystery and magic from 14 to 21 November from 10am to 11am at the Dutch Reformed Church in Linden. Illusionist Vicus Cruywagen will keep you on the edge of your seat with a show that will transport you into a mysterious, comic and illusionaryt world. Vicus will be pestered by a pesky fairy, Twinkel, that will have everybody in stitches. Tickets available at the door.

Vukani 21st Annual Fashion Awards

All fashionistas should head down to Newtown Junction mall in Newtown on 17 to 21 November. They will be treated to the latest of South African Fashion Designers Agency’s boundary-breaking and explosive African designers’ creations and newly established markets. The 2015 Vukani Annual Fashion Awards aim to enable young Africans to cement their places as The Enlightened Ones.

The story of Simon and Garfunkel an Emperors Palace

If you enjoy Mrs Robertson and Cecelia, the hottest hits on the charts, then go listen to the amazing story of Simon and Garfunkel at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace from 18 November until 6 December. The show has huge projection photos, original film footage and a full live band to perform all their smash hits from 8pm every day and ticket prices range from R165 to R220.
