• Latino Festival

South Africa’s 4th annual Latino Festival is finally here. Make your way to the Rugby Field at Mark’s Park Sports Club on 13 June. The event has grown exponentially since its inception, and this year will be bigger and better than ever before, featuring more than eight hours of entertainment and many other attractions.

• Trevor Noah in Johannesburg

South Africa’s favourite comedian Trevor Noah will be dazzling the audience with his one-man show ‘Lost in Translation’ from 11 June until 4 July at the Teatro in Montecasino.

• Arabian Nights

Make your way to Vacca Matta at Montecasino on 12 June at 9pm for the middle eastern style.

Line-up: DJ Zuby, DJ Avesh, DJ Presto, DJ G9 and DJ Vinosh will be taking to the decks and putting a Desi spin on the jam.

• Mlungisi Gegana Quartet

If you are a jazz lover them make your way to the Orbit in Braamfontein on 12 June at 8.30pm to experience Mulungisi Gegana’s melodic sounds. Gegana has since recorded with an array of the brightest jazz stars. You can catch him live and experience him for yourself.

• Queens of Comedy

The Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City has something for everyone. Join the Queens of Comedy which is a comedy sketch that will take you through a journey of life’s experiences. The sketch will feature the likes of Krijay Govender, Kaseran Pillay and Leeandra Reddy. The show will be running from 12 until 14 June at 8pm.

• Mzansi Gospel Awards

Make your way to the Mosaïek Teatro in Roodepoort for Mzansi’s Gospel Awards on 13 June at 5.30pm. Artist will be celebrating urgent, contemporary and in-conventional music with a dash of traditional gospel.

• The Bats – That Old Bat Magic

Legendary Rock outfit The Bats are bringing their show ‘That Old Bat Magic’ to the West in an evening of Nostalgia. Join them on 15 June at Silverstar Casino at 8pm.

• Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show

Join the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show for an opportunity to taste South Africa’s top wines as judged at this year`s Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show, in an informal showcase environment at the Sandton Convention Centre on 18 June at 4pm. Wines on show are all silver, gold or trophy medal winning wines from the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show 2015.

• The Love Guru

The Love Guru is the latest comedic offering from Sans Moonsamy, and it will be at the The Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City on 19 June. The storyline follows the biggest love conference in the world taking place in South Africa. If you would like to know more about the story line, then make your way to Gold Reef City at 8.30pm.

• The Ice Age Exhibition

The Ice Age Exhibition will open its doors to Johannesburg audiences at the Sandton Convention Centre on 20 June at 9am. The exhibition will offer visitors a peek into the history of earth. Visitors will also travel to a world of fascinating creatures that walked the earth more than 20 000 years ago. Carefully crafted, easy-to-understand pieces will also come to life in an educational, interactive display. Expect to see colossal mammoths, a life-size woolly rhino, sabre-toothed cat and many other beasts, all built to scale.
