Miss SA finalists gets personal with the crocs

LANSERIA – Miss SA finalist shows off her adventurous side at Croc City.

Gugulethu Banda is not your average girl, underneath the heels and dresses lies an adventure junkie.

The Miss SA 2015 finalist brought her camera crew along to Croc City Crocodile and Reptile Park to show off her adventurous side with some zip lining.

Banda, a UJ tourism development student, recently made it as one of the top 12 finalists in the upcoming Miss SA beauty pageant. She chose Croc City to film an insert for the Miss SA competition.

“The point of today, was just me getting out and showing South Africans what I like doing. I am into more of the adventurous side of life. I have done bungee jumping before, so I didn’t want to do that again. I looked up a cool place to do zip lining.”

She added, of course, that zip lining at Croc City was a thrilling experience. “This was much more adventurous because of the river filled with crocodiles. This was something that I really wanted to do to show South Africa that apart from the girly me with heels, I can also be fun and crazy and do adventurous and cool stuff.”
