14th Annual Metro Fm nominees announced
JOBURG – Voting lines are now open for the 14th annual Metro awards.
SABC radio show Metro FM’s annual awards nominations list was announced on 22 January in Johannesburg.
As expected, the 14th annual awards attracted the best in the music industry.
Cassper Nyovest and AKA will be battling it out at the awards.
Nyovest will compete in the Song of the Year category with the likes of Euphonik, AKA, The Soil, DJ Fisherman and Kelly Khumalo.
Cassper was also nominated in (Song of the Year, Best Male, Best Music Video, Best Hip Hop, Best Remix and Best Hit Single) and his rival AKA was nominated in (Song of the Year, Best Male, Best Music Video, Best Hip Hop, Best Remix and Best collaboration) – They both got nominated in six categories.
The awards will be held in Durban on 28 February.
