New venue for SAFM ‘Melting Pot of Sounds’

JOBURG – Concert moved from Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden because of unfavourable weather conditions.

The two-hour concert that was set to take place this Sunday 16 November at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden has been moved to another venue due to unfavourable weather conditions predicted by the South African Weather Service.

The SAfm Melting Pot of Sounds, a brainchild of SAfm which is a celebration of different genres of music celebrated and played on SAfm will now take place at the Linder Auditorium, 27 Saint Andrews Road, Park Town Johannesburg.

Zwai Bala has been appointed as the musical director.

He will feature various South African artists who will ensure that guests have a very entertaining afternoon.

This is where it is said that the classics, gospel, jazz, RnB and choral really meet.

All these genres will be presented in such a way that they are not easily and bluntly separated from each other but, as the title explains, thrown into one pot that produces a well blended taste made unique by a variety of special ingredients.

Featured artists include Tsepo Tshola, Tracey-Lee Oliver, HHP and Phelo Bala. This event will create a positive and unique experience which is not expected from SAfm.

This event will be staged between 5pm and 7.30pm. Bookings can be done through webtickets.co.za or at the gate.

Tickets are R100 for adults, children between the ages of six and 16 pay R50, and children under six are free. Seats are limited, make sure you buy your tickets as soon as possible.
