Fourth Avenue welcomes spring

Friends and families came out in droves to Fourth Avenue in Linden recently in a joyous celebration of all things ‘Spring’.

Vendors, shops and cafés were decorated festively and the street was alive with arts, crafts and tasty treats for all to enjoy.

Bibi’s Arts and Antiques had a colourful flea market leading into the avenue and even had a group of pups up for adoption running through the garden at the shop, much to children’s delight who played while their parents browsed through the stalls.

Among the many forms of entertainment on offer, the Boys Brigade from Noordgesig marched throughout the morning while playing drums and brass instruments; and managed to draw a big crowd.

Seems like spring had finally sprung in Linden and now, the warm summer lie ahead.
