Rand Park Primary School is proud of its U11 rugby team which won the Golden Lions Rugby Union 1st Division Tournament.
On the morning of the final, the children received their kit on stage in front of the whole school during assembly.
The final was against Curro Krugersdorp played at Hoërskool Florida. The final score was 34–22. The school sports coordinator Nica Stadtlander, backline coach Mike Edwards and forwards coach Keagan Haine were proud to see this through.
They held extra practice to prepare the team for the semi-final and final.
