Gositang Motshegwe captains SA U17 side to Cosafa win.

A Grade 10 learner at Curro Aurora recently had the honour of playing soccer for South Africa at the Cosafa Youth Games in Malawi.

The tournament took place in mid-December.

The team won their pool matches against Malawi (4–1) and Namibia (12–0). They beat Botswana 3–0 in the semi-finals in which Gositang won the player of the match award.
