Indoor netball star Tatijana to represent SA

Local indoor netball Tatijana Kožul is excited to be selected for the upcoming Indoor Netball World Cup in Australia

Indoor netball star Tatijana Kožul was selected to represent South Africa at the Indoor Netball World Cup in Brisbane, Australia in August. She was selected at the inter-provincial tournament held at the Midstream Action Arena while there were selectors watching the games.

The squad then had to go to a set of trials so that they could pick the final team for the U23s.

She writes:

Growing up, netball has been my passion ever since I started playing as a little girl. I have been playing for over 10 years and it has always been a dream for me to represent South Africa while playing the sport that I love – especially after years of hard work and dedication. To travel to Australia, a country known for its incredible sport, is even more amazing.

My hope for my team is to bring back gold for our country while receiving an unforgettable opportunity, and I am excited to build on my indoor netball journey and hope to inspire anyone else who has a similar dream.

I am looking forward to the competition and the opportunity to travel and play against amazing countries that have been known for their incredible skills, while also showing them what South Africa is made of.

I am excited to finally put all the hard work onto the court and most importantly, to represent our country and show our skills and all the elements of our competitiveness.
