Darrenwood Tennis Club makes history by winning Premier League for first time
The players have a plied their trade in national and international tournaments and are reaping the fruit of their labour.
Last year’s promotion was followed by this year’s ultimate victory after Darrenwood beat Olivedale, Bryanston, Riverridge, Bedfordview, and finally Johannesburg Country Club 46–42 in games in the final.
Chairperson and club captain Neil Van Loggerenberg congratulated the players, with whom he has played for years and who have a wealth of national and international experience.
