Saints takes home the gold in basketball tournament

LYME PARK – St Stithians Boys’ College’s 1st team won the American International School Basketball Tournament.

The Saints’s 1st team took home the gold and was captained by the school’s head boy, Andrew Jackson.

St Stithian’s 1st basketball team results for the American School International Tournament:

• 42–22 win against American International School of Cape Town
• 49–22 win against Bishop Bavin School
• 36–36 draw against African Leadership Academy
• Quarterfinal: 47–37 win against Michael Mount Waldorf School
• Semi-final: 48–44 win against (AISJ) American International School of Johannesburg
• Final: 46–38 win against St Benedicts.

St Stithians will be hosting their St Stithians College basketball U16 tournament from 15 to 17 February.
