One of the visitor’s coaches, Chris Norton, said his team had a good time in South Africa and the young boys enjoyed visiting the different sites around the country.

“It is the sixth time we have toured South Africa and the boys enjoy every moment of it,” he said. “They have a wonderful time. One of the main reasons we keep on returning to the country is because of the people here.”

Unika’s coaches Stian van Dyk and Striker van Nieuwenhuizen were happy with the way their team played.

“We had a lot of fun on the field and the scores did not really matter,” said Van Dyk.

“It is always a nice experience for the young players and they imagine it’s an international rugby match and we add to the pageantry by singing the national anthems.”
