FERNDALE - Wrestling superstar excites fans in Joburg.

WWE Live South Africa will be headlining in various cities across the country next month.

Wrestler Titus O’Neil was in Johannesburg to promote the upcoming event. With a heart as big as his 1,98m frame, he met with schoolchildren, arguably his biggest fans, and gave them expert advice on reaching their dreams.

He also visited Orlando Pirates Football Club in Orlando where he was warmly welcomed and gifted with the team’s playing kit. Later in the day, the American wrestler attended a few activation events at Multichoice City where he shared his love for South Africa.

“Being able to visit South Africa again is amazing especially after watching the Black Panther movie,” he said.

“It is such a beautiful country, from climbing Table Mountain to meeting kind and warm-hearted people.

Last time I was here I swam with the sharks so I have beautiful memories of my time here. On my journey around the country, I have tried some traditional cuisine but I don’t remember their names, I just ate.”

The Orlando, Florida USA wrestler will be in action at all the WWE Live South Africa shows that are scheduled for next month.

Fans will get to see his signature move Clash of the Titus, as well as WWE superstars Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, intercontinental champion Roman Reigns, Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Asuka, Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus, and many more.

“I encourage all fans to buy tickets and come watch us perform,” O’Neil said.

“It’s one thing to see us on television but it’s a whole other experience to see us live in the ring. Fans will get to see a side of the wrestlers and stage performances not usually seen on television. The matches will be longer and more entertaining as well.”
