Pre-season matches at Prestige Football Academy kick off

WHITERIDGE – Prestige take on Real.

Prestige Football Development Academy hosted FC Real to compete in pre-season games.

The purpose of the matches was to gauge the fitness of players as well as work out combinations along with new players.

The U13 boys’ teams competed at the sports fields of Hoërskool Die Burger in Whiteridge and both teams had difficulty finding the back of the net.

The score in the U13 boys’ match was a 1–1 draw after 90 minutes.

In the U15 match, the players wanted to show their younger counterparts, the U13 team, how to score, as goals flowed like the River Nile.

Prestige’s players managed to score eight goals while FC Real’s players could not match them and only managed to score four goals. The match ended 8–4 in favour of Prestige.
