Randburg FC shaves and kicks for Cansa

PRAEGVILLE – Watch some football and support Cansa at the same time.

Randburg Football Club opens for registrations for the 2017 season on 4 February.

Registration for new and old members will take place from 9am to 1pm.

A long-standing member of the club, Kevin Mudie said, “Randburg Football Club has been the club of choice for over 40 years and continues to develop great players and improves its facilities.”

The club caters for all ages from peewees (four-year-olds), juniors, girls and women to seniors and vets. They also provide for academy teams and have a team playing in the SAB Castle League.

The open day is not only about soccer but a day to raise awareness about cancer. They will be hosting a Cansa Shavathon on the day from 9am. “All proceeds raised will be going directly to Cansa. Come pledge your support… spray, shave, donate,” added Mudie.

“This day is to help the people that are fighting cancer, they need our help.”

The first team and reserves will be pitting their skills against Olympia Football Club in the Top 8 clash. Reserves kick off at 1pm and first team kick off at 3pm.
