Sebastian’s Spanish dream

LINKSFIELD – Sebastian needs your help to realise his dream.

Sebastian Naicker a 12-year-old football player needs financial assistance to help realise his lifelong dream of playing in the Mundialito Football Tournament in Spain.

According to his father, Llewellyn Naicker, Sebastian has been playing league soccer since the age of nine.

“His love for soccer started the day he held his first ball in his hand and he could kick a ball before he could even walk. His greatest dream is to become a professional soccer player one day and he works very hard to reach his long-term dream,” he said.

Over the past four years, Sebastian has won numerous accolades in football; he has been selected and now currently plays for the Linksfield-based Black Aces Football Club (FC) academy.

Sebastian’s dream for the past two years has been to play in the Mundialito tournament.

Next year, he has the opportunity to represent Black Aces and South Africa in this very prestigious tournament which is attended by teams from all over the world. Some of the more famous teams such as FC Barcelona, RCD Espanyol, Real Madrid, Atletico

Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla, Málaga, Celta de Vigo, Deportivo La Coruña, Benfica and Porto have junior teams attending this tournament.

“For Sebastian, this would be a dream come true and give him a taste of what it would be like to play against these teams in the future,” said his father.
