21st KJD SA Taekwondo Championships held in Ferndale
FERNDALE – KJD hosts martial arts clubs from around Gauteng for their tournament.
The 21st KJD South African Taekwondo Championships took place on 20 February at the Ferndale Recreation Centre.
Dozens of clubs came from all over Gauteng to participate, such as Eagles Vanderbijl Park, Eagles Alberton, KJD Centurion, KJD Randburg, Lee Club Randburg.
Each student participated in their specific categories which were, Poomsae, Kyeorugi and Demo.
”Caeleb Thompson from KJD Randburg did a demo of 1st Dan right up to 9th and did an excellent job,” said Lorraine Lee of KJD Randburg.
The day ended with many medals and trophies being awarded to the participants.
