KJD championships

MALANSHOF – KJD hosted their most successful championships.

KJD Taekwondo Championship was held at the KJD Taekwondo Academy hosted by Grandmaster Lee on 31 October.

The Eagles Club from Vanderbijlpark and the KJD Randburg Clubs contended for the top prizes.

A lot of medals and trophies were awarded to junior and senior participants.

A special Lifetime Achievement award was given to Sa Bum Nims Johan and Stefne van der Bank from the Eagles Club.

They were awarded for their dedication to Taekwondo over the last 20 years.

Grandmaster Lee said, “This was one of his best championships at the KJD Academy in Malanshof, the competitors and parents had a really good day.”

Taekwondo is the official Olympic full-contact martial-arts sport and Grandmaster Lee holds 9th Dan –one of the highest in the World.

Grandmaster Lee congratulated all of his students for their tireless efforts. He also said, “A special thanks to all of the parents with regard to their sponsorships, support and giving their children the opportunity to train and be a part of the KJD martial arts family.”
