NORTHRIDING – Joburg’s 'Hottest Breakfast Show' fires up for the Proteas with a hot breakfast.

HOT 91.9 FM‘s Hottest Breakfast team hosted its show at the Sandton Sun Hotel deck with a live broadcast of the Proteas versus New Zealand semi-final cricket match on 24 March.

HOT 91.9 FM, a local Randburg radio station, invited their listeners to a live broadcast and a full buffet breakfast to support the Proteas.

The Hottest Breakfast team held the event to bring together supporters from all over Johannesburg to enjoy some ‘bacon and egg rolls’.

South Africa’s pride and joy, the Proteas, reached the Cricket World Cup semi-finals, where they played against New Zealand in Auckland Park, New Zealand.

The game was rained out for some time, with play resuming at 7.45am (Central African Time). Businessmen and women, as well as many other visitors, flocked to the hotel to meet the HOT 91.9 FM team and catch some cricket action.

The game ended with New Zealand winning by six wickets on the second last ball with Grant Elliott hitting a sixth off the last ball.
