KFC Randburg Harriers 10km Valentine’s Night Race on 13 February brought through tons of visitors young and old.
Mixed generations of runners attended the evening dressed to impress with some great decorative outfits.
Families, evening in prams participated.
With a great live band and some great food and treats on tap the run was enjoyed by all.
One of the stand-out features of this event is that around two-thirds of the field purchases a temporary running licence.
The race attracts a huge number of novices and occasional runners, who are drawn to the event by the Valentine’s theme, the tradition of running in all manner of Valentine’s fancy dress, the famous Valentine’s coffee mugs that are handed to all finishers, and the after-party in the marquee, where a bar and live entertainment keep the party going until late into the night.
This year, the talented group Dream Catcher kept the crowd entertained.
