Champagne women runners for Harriers

MALANSHOF – Randburg Harriers salute the women runners in the Varsity Kudus 15km Race.

Two women runners of the Randburg Harriers Running Club clocked best times in the Varsity Kudu 15km Race on 4 January.

Sarah Cooks came first in the master female category, while Beth Libby-Neale was placed third in her category of veteran female.

Both women were pleased with their places in their relevant categories as well as the opportunity to represent their club.

Club captain John Neale comments, ”We had a great time at the Varsity Kudus 15 km Race – a ‘champagne’ start to the running year. Thanks to Beth Libby-Neale, Ruth and James Neale, for assisting with the catering, and our chairman Adrian Cullinane who handed out Valentine’s Race flyers at the finish. Well done to Sarah Crooks and Beth Libby-Neale, first master female and third veteran female, respectively.”
