Tennis tournament for Spring

OLIVEDALE – Tennis club hosts a doubles tournament for Spring.

The Olivedale Tennis Club hosted its Spring Round Robin on 27 September.

The tournament was played in doubles format.

Club secretary Jill Meintjes and Samora Sili, won.

Petra Dorfling and Rassie Erasmus came second.

The club was filled with a vibrant atmosphere as people wore colourful clothes and flowers, and were served a variety of food.

Spring hats were also worn.

Lynn Munroe was presented with a spot prize for her Spring flowers on her tekkies and around her neck.

Glen Duncan said that the tournament was well organised.

Ronald Flockhart said that it was a great way to celebrate Spring.

Dorfling said that the hats worn on the day were beautiful.

Craig Sneeden said that he enjoyed the tournament and was happy that his three sons, Ethan, Luke and Josh were able to join him on the court.
