A search for witnesses to Beyers Naude accident

The deceased was removed by ambulance from the scene of the accident before the arrival of relatives, and the family is searching for information about what happened.

Peet Wiese writes:

We are urgently looking for any eyewitnesses to a traffic accident that occurred on Beyers Naude Drive, opposite Cash Converters in Blackheath Shopping Centre shortly after 7am on 30 July 2020.

The accident involved only one vehicle, a white Nissan Sentra sedan. The accident occurred after the only occupant of the Sentra, who was travelling towards the N1, suffered a fatal heart attack behind the steering wheel and crashed into either a tree or large aloe on the meridian between the two traffic lanes.

The deceased was removed by ambulance from the scene of the accident before the arrival of relatives, and the family is searching for information about what happened.

To find closure on the matter, the family of the deceased are pleading with any eyewitnesses to come forward and kindly contact Peet Wiese on 082 478 5185.

Thank you.
