Congratulations to Michael Sun, the MMC for Public Safety.
He is the best thing to have happened since sliced bread. I fully support his strategy to have a disc showing that I am an ambassador for anti-corruption. These officers are very intimidating and it would be useful to have this to show them.
When can we expect them and how do we apply for them?
I have found that when [Metro police] attempt to extort a bribe from me I rather tell them to do what they have to do and write out the ticket. But I make sure they print their name in capital letters on it. This usually makes them aware that you will report them for bribery and they back off.
How one man can, within a month, sort out the repairs of fire engines when it has been years for the previous administration to do anything is truly commendable. Just shows that with perseverance and the will to do something anything is achievable.
I also commend Herman Mashaba for the amazing things he has done since becoming mayor. These two men are making a difference amidst all the doom and gloom we face every day.
