All natural wart away

JHB – The natural war on warts.

Claire Brown writes,

There is nothing I hate more than unsightly warts appearing out of nowhere, but not to fear there are some great natural cures out there that can solve all your wart woes for the rest of your living days.

Before we can treat warts, we need to understand them, so here’s a little information breakdown on pesky warts.

Warts are commonly an infection in the top layer of skin, caused by a virus. When the virus invades this outer layer of skin, usually through a tiny scratch, it causes rapid growth of cells on the outer layer of skin, creating the wart.

If you have any type of skin wart, it means that you came in contact with a wart-causing virus sometime in the past, even though it could have been months ago.

Please note that people get warts from other people with warts, NOT from frogs and toads!

Overall this then explains commonly why warts occur on areas like fingers and feet joints, elbows and knees and why men may have warts in the beard area, while women often have them appear on their legs where cuts are most likely to occur.

Without a doubt the best remedy that I personally have used is vinegar.

It is quick and effective and doesn’t leave any unsightly scars.

Now there are two kinds of vinegar you can use: I personally use plain, old cheap white vinegar and it works like a charm but the most commonly talked about one is apple cider vinegar.

Now vinegar does not actually kill the virus, but because of its high acidity it attacks the “flesh” that makes up the wart, kills the physical wart itself, and allows it to peel naturally from the skin (therefore during the treatment the treated area will be discoloured and look unsightly but this will soon heal away).

So you can expect there to be some soreness or swelling in the beginning – it’s normal and then after a week or two your wart will change to a lovely dark shade and finally, it will just fall off on its own.

The treatment process is easy:

  • For a quicker option soak a piece of cotton in the vinegar
  • Squeeze out the excess so that it’s not dripping when you apply it
  • Place it over your wart, and secure it with a strip of gauze, plaster or cloth
  • Do this every night and remove during the day or you can leave it on during the day as well.

Or

For a less abrasive remedy wash the wart area with soap and a rough sponge after each bath or shower Just as soon as you get out the bath apply the vinegar to the wart straight away. Wipe the area gently and hold the cotton with the vinegar on the wart for 30 seconds. Do this daily or twice a day.

And that’s it, warts away!
