I wish to thank the Garage owner George of the Sasol Garage on the corner of Rabie and Malibongwe for coming to the rescue.
My wife who was on her way to a doctor’s appointment pulled into the garage to put some diesel into her Golf as it was on empty.
The petrol attendant by mistake put in petrol instead of diesel Opps!!
This just about gave my wife a heart attack as she was already agitated about going to the doctor.
The garage owner was very apologetic and immediately assured her that he would take her car and drain out the petrol replace the
filter and put in the diesel.
True to his word we collected the car in the afternoon it had been drained and replaced with diesel with the compliments of George no charge.
He then phoned my wife the next day to apologise again for the mistake and to find out if the car was ok.
I think George needs a little compliment in the Randburg Sun for his efforts if you can find the space.
