Bloubosrand community updates

BLOUBOSRAND – Klarika of the Bloubosrand Animal Welfare gives updates to the community.

Klarika (Nomsa) of the Bloubosrand Animal Welfare Group writes:

Dear residents and friends – I thank you for all encouraging calls and e-mails.

I am glad that many of you agree that together we are better to sort out problems for the benefit of all residents in our region which includes all beloved creatures – great and small.

I also thank everybody who trusts in God and prays consistently.

Now! I have good news for you!

We had a very friendly and constructive meeting on 21 November 2014, at the City of Johannesburg’s Private Office of the Executive Mayor PA with of the Stakeholder Management Unit.

We highlighted all the problems and were promised the round table meeting with the Executive Mayor Parks Tau or his representative and relevant civil servants for early December as was recommended by the Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa in February 2014.

Martin Whitcher, the internationally renowned ‘celebrity golf trainer’ who will establish his Golf Academy on the closed Kya Sand Landfill site, needs to be present and I encourage all of us to be positive that everything from heron will change for the better soonest.

I sincerely hope that our mayor will be present, we need to get to know him.

Enjoy a wonderful Festive Season. Vegetarian/Vegan Christmas Dinners are strongly recommended.
