Rand Park Primary gets creative at Story Book Character Dress Up Day
Story book characters come to life as learners and teachers dress up for the day.
Teachers, Caitlin Pieterse (Little Miss Helpful), Chantelle de Nysschen (Little Miss Sunshine), Nica Stadtlander (Spider-Man), Jade Martins (Little Miss Neat), Erin Meredith (Little Miss Love) and Tasmin Ford (Little Miss Star).
Superheroes, Dr Seuss characters, pirates, princesses and even living dictionaries spent a day learning and teaching at Rand Park Primary School.
This was because the school held its very own Story Book Character Dress-up Day on April 26. Learners and teachers dressed up as various characters from history and fiction to add to the fun of the school day.
Brothers, Noah Gunkel-Keuler and Quinn Gunkel-Keuler as a pirate and Spider-Man.
“It was such a big success, the learners dressed up in beautiful clothing,” said the sports coordinator at the school Nica Stadtlander who came as Spider-Man. “Their imagination went sky high and the teachers followed suit. We saw some really interesting costumes and the day was enjoyed by all.”
