Rand Park Primary School holds a sensational swimming gala

Josh Drury has broken the backstroke record for four consecutive years now.

The annual inter-house swimming gala was again a splashing success at Rand Park Primary School, with medals galore and records broken.

Sports coordinator at the school, Nica Stadtlander said the day was a great success and rang the praise of Josh Drury for setting four new records.

These were in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle all for the U13 age group – also called the open age group at the primary school level.

Jorja Adelaine and Lincoln Swanepoel win the Junior Victrix and Victor Ludorum trophies, respectively.

Winning the records, meaning he also received the Brent Taylor Trophy. It also does not look like anyone will be able to catch him, as he has broken the backstroke record for four consecutive years.
