Montecasino became a flavorful fundraising haven as Ultimate Braai Master Live 2024 brought together delicious eats, side-splitting comedy, and meaningful giving from October 25 to 27.
For three extraordinary days, organisations, charities, schools, and community groups turned up the heat for their cause, earning portions of funds from ticket sales that went towards their meaningful projects.
The event had everything the community could ask for – delectable food, top-notch entertainment, and a joyful tribute to South Africa’s beloved braai tradition, hosted by talented comedian and braai master Chris Forrest.

Co-organiser Tabitha Hoy-Forrest described the event as: “the most engaging, fun, and delicious way to raise funds. It’s not just a fundraiser, it’s a braai bonanza where families, friends, and soon-to-be friends gather for incredible food and unforgettable fun.”
Comedians Stuart Taylor and Dave Levinsohn joined the lineup, delivering hilarious performances. Taylor’s: Odd Man Out show explored the awkward misadventures of a suburban comedian, while Levinsohn’s quirky take on everyday South African life kept fans in stitches.
