An Uber driver was shot during an armed robbery at a petrol station in Ferndale.
This on Oxford Street near the corner of Long Avenue at about 18:10 on August 17.
Randburg police spokesperson Captain Makgowanyana Maja said the man was taken to hospital where he was receiving treatment.
“I can confirm that a case of business robbery has been opened and under investigation,” he said.
“No one has been arrested as yet.”
Randburg Community Policing Forum public relations officer Pommie Lutchman confirmed the incident, saying the man was taken away by a government ambulance.
