Learners shine on St Stithians Representation Day

National Representation Day at St Stithians College acknowledged the hard work and dedication of learners and staff who represented their countries in sports, arts, and other fields.

St Stithians College honoured its learners and staff who have represented their countries in various sports and activities at the school’s National Representation Day.
This annual event recognises the exceptional dedication, time, and commitment required to achieve national recognition.

Learners and staff proudly wore their national colours to school, celebrating their achievements in sports ranging from water polo and cricket to rowing and dance. St Stithians takes pride in the accomplishments of these individuals, acknowledging the immense effort it takes to represent a country at the highest level.
The event highlighted the diversity of the school’s representatives, with participants representing South Africa and other countries.

Among the athletes celebrated were Troy Pasqualle for water polo, Kwena Maphaka for cricket, Ben Wallis for football, and Kate Christowitz for rowing. Seabelo Kgosi represented Botswana in karate, and Ava Bezuidenhout, who shone in powerlifting, were also recognised. The event further extended beyond sports, with public speaker Arabile Maphiri and performer Jayden Benard being acknowledged for their achievements.
Water polo player Michael Stewart and synchronised swimmer Karen Prinsloo were recognised in absentia.
