The CPF’s role is to facilitate communication between the community and the Randburg SAPS. From time to time, they must bring stakeholder groups and members of the community together to provide opportunities for their engagement with SAPS.

Mzi Khumalo, of the Randburg CPF, explained that they will also broadcast communication from SAPS to reach the community at large.

“Some of the fundraising activities coming up will include raffles, stalls etc. Please be on the lookout for these through the CPF’s social media pages. It’s important that we have the capacity to bring the community together effectively for engaging the SAPS and also that we can broadcast the message/instruction/warning from SAPS to the community.”

The CPF also invites direct contact from the community for initiatives with this regard. It can be contacted through the executive member and structures secretary Zenobia Gillion at 0834585299, and via email at zenobia.gillion@gmail.com.
