Ann Harding Cheshire Home hosts successful annual market

Families enjoyed a variety of activities at the Ann Harding Cheshire Home Annual Market, where live music and food stalls created a festive atmosphere.

The Ann Harding Cheshire Home hosted its highly anticipated annual market on Sunday, July 28.

For a nominal entry fee of R10, attendees enjoyed a day filled with a variety of activities and entertainment suitable for all ages. The market featured plenty of stalls offering a diverse range of goods, ensuring there was something for everyone. Families had a great time with the kids’ entertainment, making it an ideal outing for the whole family.

In addition to the exciting stalls and activities, there was a selection of food and drinks available for purchase, allowing visitors to indulge in delicious treats while they explored the market.

A highlight of the event was the live music performed by TJ’s Acoustic, who have been entertaining audiences since 1991. Their performance added a lively and festive atmosphere to the market, making it a memorable experience for all who attended.

Jackie Kyle, the organiser of the event, expressed her delight at the turnout. “We are thrilled with the community’s response and support. It was wonderful to see so many people come together for a day of fun while supporting the residents of Ann Harding Cheshire Home,” she said.

The Ann Harding Cheshire Home, part of the Leonard Cheshire Disability Organisation, provides a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities. The annual market was not only a fun-filled event but also an opportunity for the community to support this important cause.
