“There weren’t any major injuries, and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. At Diggers, we pride ourselves in developing all players, and days like these give players an opportunity to show what they learned on the practice fields. We are in the thick of the season now, and games happen weekly, with Diggers regularly sending over 20 teams to our fellow GLRU youth rugby clubs.”

He added that their partners, Fidelity ADT, made sure the visitors and their assets were safe, and along with all the volunteers involved made the day one to remember.

“We will host our next rugby day on August 10, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back again.”
