RCCI breakfast event creates valuable connections for business owners

Richard Ntjana, Acting CEO of the RCCI, said the breakfast allowed businesses and entrepreneurs to network and explore funding opportunities.

The Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) held a dynamic networking breakfast on June 5, at the Randpark Golf Club, sponsored by Business Partners, a leading provider of business loans for small to medium enterprises worldwide. Business owners and representatives from Randburg, Sandton, and Midrand met up at the golf club to create connections over breakfast while exploring vital funding avenues.

Reflecting on the significance of networking, Manjush Mathews, president of the RCCI, emphasised its pivotal role in business development, stating, “Networking is vital. Critical for the growth and development of businesses and business owners. That is really what the RCCI is here to provide and facilitate – the opportunity for businesses to build networks.”

Mathews stressed the need for expansion and learning. “As business owners there is never a situation where you know everything you need to know regarding what your business needs. There are always additional skills and connections that we need to bolster, grow and make our businesses stronger.”

Highlighting the uncertain business landscape, he urged business owners to be resilient. “The reality is that we live in very uncertain times. One of the recent factors that has brought uncertainty is the elections and for the first time, we have seen an election result that we haven’t seen. This makes life interesting, but also uncertain.

“So, what do businesses need to do in uncertain times? One of the things is not to stop. We need to keep the flow going and the worst thing you can do is stop.”

Richard Ntjana, Acting CEO of the RCCI, agreed with Mathews and celebrated the meaningful connections made at the breakfast. “The breakfast was a great success because it gave an opportunity for businesses and entrepreneurs to network with each other. Everyone was excited to hear what Business Partners has to offer for their funding needs.”

Ntjana explained the RCCI’s commitment to empowering members and facilitating growth opportunities. “It’s the responsibility of the RCCI to create value for the members and potential funders to help them grow their business, and that is what the breakfast was for.”
